He left you a detailed briefing on his pet sitting. When I arrived yesterday, Murphy came running to the door and I got the royal treatment. She was apparently happy and looked good. I had several activities scheduled, but as often happens, things don't always work the way they are planned. The week is filled with sadness, as the health of my 18-year-old cat, Mocha, has deteriorated to the point of knowing that the end time is here. I adopted Mocha from a shelter at the age of three. I had gone there to buy a ticket for an event, and while I was there, checked out the cat section. In the very last cage was this sweet cream and white adult cat. Sensing he was friendly, I opened the cage door, and he immediately came forward and placed his paws on my chest and rubbed my face. He's been doing that for the past 15 years.
